DO NOT GO HERE. Find any other place that will accept your insurance. I would give 0 stars if I could. My very first visit, I was not told until after my cleaning that the dentist was not present, and that I would need to make another appointment. Later, I came in on a dental emergency for a chip in my tooth. Dentist claimed there was nothing wrong, and proceed to perform a filling on the opposite side of my mouth. I'll try to keep it brief and to the point. After your appointment, the business manager will swipe your credit card and balk at giving you an invoice describing services rendered. Although Cayuga Family Dental is "in-network" with the Cornell Program for Healthy Living, they prefer to charge you directly rather than bill insurance so that they can squeeze more out of you than the fee negotiated with the insurer (i.e., MetLife). Do NOT waist your time. Why you ask? - They cancel your appointment on the last minute. - They double book you with another person every time! - Your hygienist spends 12 minutes cleaning and polishing your teeth. I timed it. - The dentist and hygienist tried to up-sell us on multiple things we didn't want/need. When we said we didn't want them, they continued to ask for each visit. - When we tried to switch to a new dentist, I gave them six months notice to give me copies of my records and x-rays to pass to the new d... read more
