Had a great time rum tasting at Grand Cayman Distillery. It was a perfect indoor activity since the rain was off and on all morning. Athena is super friendly and very informative. It was so nice speaking with her and learning about our different cultures. There is a story behind every single tasting we did which Athena eloquently explained. My husband enjoyed all the different types of rum and it was the perfect kickstart to his birthday. Highly recommend this tour and it’s definitely a must when visiting the Cayman Islands.
Wow! The best coconut rum and dark rum ive ever had. This distillery makes their rum in small batches and the technique they use for the coconuts amplify the flavor. I used to drink Tortuga but this is my new go to....amazing! The dark rum is like nothing you've probably tasted. It's a sipping rum, smooth, don't taste alcohol, it's made with molasses. My wife and I had an incredible time visiting Cayman Spirits Co. Mishko and Evan were outstanding hosts — friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. We had the opportunity to sample several different styles of rum and liqueurs, each with its own distinct flavor and story. 3 of us visited on 03/10/2025(Oct). We had the pleasure of Athena during the visit. She was funny from the start, engaging, insightful and so friendly. The range of rums was vast and the tastes were skilfully achieved. It was a taste sensation. I would highly recommend a visit here as it's interesting and the look into the distillery itself was great to see all the equipment used and the setup as a whole.
