Yes you absolutely right Austin… Katie Mathis with the warranty side of Horton won’t respond to emails and phone calls…I remember when Luke said they gone change my driveway thing's..since it was cracks on it they change the wrong one and after that I called them they never answered for that I was keeping calling them for that and even now if I call them they say no sorry it’s not in warranty any more….
Edit: Don’t let their reply fool you, they’re not interested in helping. Katie Mathis with the warranty side of Horton won’t respond to emails and whoever runs the Google replies conveniently didn’t include any of their contact info. The builder does an awful job of grading the lots and doesn’t seem to be too concerned with owners’ drainage problems. Like Elizabeth’s review addresses, they left pieces of brick and gravel all under the sod on top of grading the lot poorly which will inevitably kill your grass and wash your lo... read more
The builder does an awful job of grading the lots and doesn’t seem to be too concerned with owners’ drainage problems. Like Elizabeth’s review addresses, they left pieces of brick and gravel all under the sod on top of grading the lot poorly which will inevitably kill your grass and wash your lot away. My driveway is dropping on one side and has holes where water drains off under it. These homes are poorly made, and have so many issues. The kitchen layout Does not work out if you want to have functional space. They use the cheapest material for everything and things will start to break within weeks of moving in. The builder was so rude throughout the entire process and did not want to fix issues like stains on the walls and spots that were not painted or sanded correctly . The dog park common area is never kept up and they don’t actually remove all the rocks and debris from the dirt whenever they’re putt... read more
