I wouldn't recommend. I have a family history of high blood pressure. Both of my grandparents have had strokes, and I'm afraid to have one. I am prescribed medication for my high blood pressure and encouraged through this doctor to take my blood pressure regularly. One time I took it and it read 170/110. My very caring doctor instead insisted my cuff was inaccurate and tried to get me to have it tested.
