I have been going here for 4 years now. I see the rave reviews from others and I don't see it that way. The only reason I stay here is because my local vet won't treat my epileptic dog. Every time, without exception, I go here or call here, there is a problem. I made an appointment for today for his annual blood test. Upon arrival, I am told that they will not refill his prescription unless I agree to and pay for his annual "physical" at a cost of 100 dollars (there is a word for that!). Been a customer for over 20 years. Recently called to make an appointment. They have now changed their phone number to Whitby? for some reason.. Multiple attempts got no answer. Twice put on hold for over 10 minutes each time..& never got to speak to anyone. I gave up, & called a New Vet in Peterborough. They answered the phone immediately. Cavin Hills is not what it used to be. After more than 20 years, they have lost me as a customer.

My Dog, (who was my bestfriend for 15 years) was not doing well. We usually used a different veterinarian however they didnt have time to see her. I called Cavan and they got her in within the hour. Unfortunately, Roxy wasn't doing well and passed away. Everyone at Cavan was so caring, and helpful. I truly am beyond wow'd by the service that I received there.
