So got an order for take out, and told the person that was buying it for me to get the rice and chicken bowl with black olives as an extra. He told staff at Cava that he wanted it with everything it comes with, and we got something TOTALLY different plus, the rice was super hard and service super slow.. I had good experiences here other times, but last night was super gross and slow. Wasn’t bad. But also nothing special. Like chipotle but Mediterranean food. Seemed over priced for what it was.
I believe these restaurants are called "fast casual restaurants" the closest comparison i think would be chipolte. They sort of bridge the gap between fast food, and dine in experience. The food really is pretty good especially if you like Mediterranean.
