Hanover location is great! Eddie was super friendly and made the atmosphere very welcoming.
This was one of the worst Cava’s i’ve been to.. I ordered the build your own bowl and had 2 problems with it. Firstly, I asked for the eggplant dip and because the tub was empty, he scraped the last bits and I got less than half a scoop of the dip. I thought he was going to refill the tub but he just left it at that. Then, I asked for the spicy lamb meatballs and got three (instead of 4) crumbly broken up meatballs, which mind you, cost $2.55 extra. Went in with my child to order. Had my child in one hand the whole time. What is the point of asking me if I would like a bag, if you’re just going to stare at me while I’m struggling to place my items in the bag?? Is it a Cava policy that they cannot put the items in the bag? A customer behind me noticed the encounter, and offered to help me, while the person I believe to be the manager on shift, who rang me up and handed me the bag, just watched. Very strange. I will not be returning!!
Portion could be a bit bigger. Feels more like a sampler plate. Just add a little more rice and maybe a bit more hummus, hummus is super easy to make and Cava makes it delicious. Flavor is delicious! My drink as well. Pricing is affordable. Overall im happy to include Cava in my diet.
