Established in 1952. D.C. Cauthan started the business in 1952 and continued working there until retirement in 1990. He sold the business in 1989 to Mr. Mac McRae. Because the Cauthan name had such a reputation for quality work, the new owners decided to keep the name. Mac McRae passed away in 1997 and the business was continued for approximately two years by his wife, Christin McRae.
