Please stay away from the Crust-a-way Bay hotel. One thing after another. The staff was not welcoming when we went to check in. Made it very clear that we were interrupting her dinner. The room keys didn’t work. Everywhere was hot and muggy despite us having AC. Carpet was gross and sticky The toilet did not work. It barely flushed anything. I had to call for a plunger at 2 am There are no lit signs outside. You’ll totally miss it driving pass. Worse experience ever. Woke up to a bed bug crawling on my husband!! Our car broke down and we needed a place to stay! Once we arrived on the 5th floor we noticed a smell of death! Trash over flowing with rotten food in the ice machine room! The hallway was trashed, not swept, smelled like mold, full of sheets, blankets, and pillows from all the rooms at 1030 at night! Stayed here twice. 2nd time was the following day I didn’t think I had to stay again. Different booking, but was told if I stayed in the same room I was just in it’d be safer it’d be left the way I left it. Being that they didn’t have housekeeping. I also wasn’t able to get clean towels because they didn’t have them and nobody did laundry. I was not offered a discount for this inconvenience at all. I don't typically like to leave negative reviews, but BEWARE. The pictures are VERY misleading here. None of the amenities advertised such as the pool, hot tub and the hot tubs in the rooms are available. They are "Being replaced" according to a staff member who also did not know the answer to a simple question about how many beds are in the hot tub suite. The gym is also closed. The pool and hot tub in the pool area is closed as well.
