I purchase the Cat Spot clumping litter and both my cat and I love it! I am allergic to most litters but this one I have no allergy too. It controls the smell for 2 solid weeks (1 cat) and I scoop twice a day (am/pm). I even had family visit and comment how my small apartment had zero litter box smell. It is very fine so it does track. A good mat will help cut this some, but not all. It is 100% dust free! I tried the non-clumping version once and did not care for it. This litter was extra messy for my cats. I have two cats, filled three boxes with this. Cats used it and I had “peat moss” material everywhere. It is messy. Also, two cats used it, normal urination. After three days it smelled atrocious. I “stirred” it each day as recommended, eliminating solid waste daily. Bottom line, more work with mess and def not an improvement in smell.
