We love our new butcher block rolling island! It’s very solid and the wood grain is gorgeous. I’m so happy I was able to find a great piece of furniture made in the USA for under a thousand dollars. IF YOU SAND THIS CUTTING BOARD (GOOD TERM FOR IT) EVERY NIGHT AFTER CUTTING IT, BY CUTTING ON IT... AND OIL IT...YOU WILL KEEP A NICE BOARD...IF NOT, YOU WILL CARVE IT UP...
Very nice looking! We bought two separate pieces for our kitchen. The work center with drop leaf is worthless other than to look at. The drawer does not open/close easily and when the drop leaf is down, the catch for it prevents the drawer from closing! Most disappointing was the dimensions for the door/shelves. The dimensions they give to don't take into account the doors. NOTHING big will fit in the two side cabinets. The shelves are not really adjustable.
