So, yes, I guess it's either stupid or gutsy to post publicly, under my own name, with a review of a mental health professional. But here's my tiny contribution to normalizing care of one's mental health, and also my equally small advocacy for finding a care provider who helps humanize all the "ick" (totally a Freudian term, look it up) and harmonize all the harsh realities of living with the heart and hopes of the patient. So far, Dr. Heffner is helping me do all this and more.
I have had a great experience with Dr. Heffner for almost 2 years now. Kind. Caring. Listens. Works with me where I am and for what’s best for me. Highly recommend.
