The Cathedral of Saint John Berchmans is a great experience, the Mass is great. The cantors, lectors, alter servers, organist, ushers, not to mention Deacon John, Msgr Lacaze and the pastor Father Peter Mangum are striving to offer the best liturgy possible, such reverence to Almighty God. The benidiction, Eucharistic adoration, the sacraments and adult retreats are conducted with a very special dedication to our Lord as per the Church would expect. We love how faith is integrated into the school life and how the whole school functions as a family. The church is amazingly beautiful and the prayer garden is a quiet corner of peace.
I wish I could have brought this beautiful place with me to Houston. I miss St. John and the people tremendously ✝️❤️
