These cottages were so quaint! We had the best experience staying here. The cottage was clean, the property was so well kept, and the creek was the icing on the cake. This was the highlight of our NY trip. She had everything we needed to do a bonfire, grilling, and all the little details that were so well thought out and intentional. We loved this place so much!
Really loved our stay. Lots of thoughtful touches and accommodations and very close proximity to Seneca Lake and the surrounding Watkins Glen attractions. Huge emphasis on being dog-friendly with a fenced-in dog recreation area right onsite next to the cottages. Loved the individual firepit and picnic area allotted to each cabin.
Super nice people and even nicer cabins! It’s super nice and peaceful me and my 19 year old brother love it. The fire place is amazing and they have good prices for wood to purchase and fire starts. There’s a good amount of land for each cabin to play ball or catch. I would definitely be back!
I had the pleasure of staying in The Nest at Catharine Cottages for the July 4th weekend. First of all Ilona is the most lovely host. She is responsive when needed, friendly and open to a chat, but also knows how to give guests space. It is obvious that she takes a lot of pride in making the property as nice as possible for guests.
