My problem with restaurants is I set my expectations to high for food. I walk in I see chefs jackets I see things like pork belly green chili eggs Benedict. I am expecting high standards. And disappointed with diner food. The wasn't horrible by any means but it certainly was as good as I was expecting. My Hollandaise was very bland with body to it, green chillies tasted like they came from a can. Eggs were over easy instead of poached. I had biscuits instead of English muffins. Ehhhh the service really wasn’t good. I wasn’t even finished placing my order when the waitress was already walking away. She seemed talkative with a few of the other guests & I later found out she was one of the owners through her convo w a customer, which the experience more disappointing. They didn’t let us sit with my husband’s service dog - they said it’s not possible even outside in the garden. Very unfriendly attitude too.
Driving through town, we decided to stop here. It was pretty busy, so we didn’t mind waiting to be seated. Unfortunately, once we were seated, the service was extremely disappointing. Our server, Stella, only came to our table twice, once to take our order and once to bring our food. She never came back to check on us after our food arrived. Very cute cafe with decent food. The prices are very high though for standard breakfast fair. There are other places with similar quality of food at a cheaper price in the vicinity
