Super nice people
Cates has done a number of large projects for us; some of them were very complicated. We have always had positive experiences. The work was done beautifully and they were very responsive. We have never had a problems and would recommend them without hesitation.
Current house we are renting. Home owner used Cates to remodel a bathroom. Noticed a huge leak coming from the bathroom tub into the basement. Look to see that the plumbing was not completely done. The contractors just did a quick fix of plumbers putty and they called it a day. The pipe was a quarter inch too short, seals were missing, etc. Along with gluing the pipe on crooked. More problem that occurred and would have never happened if the job wasn't rushed. Recommend not hiring this company to do any remodel.
Excellent contractor. They did a major addition to our home including a new bathroom, laundry room, garage, siding and driveway. They did an outstanding job. All of the work was done to high standards. We simply love it. And when one problem arose later, they were quick to fix it at their cost. When you deal with contractors, the only guarantee you really have is reputation and integrity. Cates has that in spades. Highly recommended.
