A very relaxing place to walk in early May before the black flies are out. The visitor centre is not open, neither are the washrooms, but there is out house facilities at the second parking area. We took trail number 2 to number 3 and then 4, which covers over 6km. There were a few blossoms on the trees and early flowers, like Trout Lilly's and Spring Beauties. It has a few steep climbs but is a relatively easy walk, past a dried up river bed, and marshy areas, but the trail was nicely groomed.
Great area to visit
Too many mosquitoes in September, don't come. I got 26 bites in 3 hours. Rather call it LITTLE MOSQUITO AREA.
Amazing place to visit with your family. During the weekends in March, they have Maple Madness. You can see the maple syrup production and try a delicious pancake.
Always come for maple madness. Great to be outdoors
