The company has gone out of business. No one is in the office any longer, very sad, many customers are in a very bad situation. Various stages of the pool incomplete and under contract....
This company doesn't deserve one star, giving them one is an insult to actual one star businesses. I signed a contract one year ago to have a pool built at my home. It has been a complete disaster and the sad thing about this entire ordeal is that these MF's have been paid in full. I'm still waiting on the deck, plaster, a refund for my waterfall, pool start up, mesh cover and Polaris. Two years later and they haven't started anything! I contacted Catalina Pools in 2020 to discuss building a pool. Shortly after that, still in 2020, I signed the contract and gave them a $14,000 deposit, with the assurance that we'd be swimming in 2021. It's been a nightmare from that point on. I would like every person reading these reviews to notice the response from the owner. It sounds like we did not provide with the best experience or some BS like that and please call us directly so we can win you back. You can call and talk with someone until you are blue in the face, they will just blow you off and ignore everything you said. My pool was completed in April of 2020. My wife and I have the extremely irrational hope that someday, by some miracle, Catalina will treat us as customers, respond to some of our mails or texts, and tell us when the work to finish our pool will resume. If I could give them a zero, I would. My pool was completed in May, 2016. I started experiencing problems w/ various elements immediately. After contacting the warranty department and waiting for responses, some items were corrected, though it was like pulling teeth. One item that was refused repair was a tear in the cover after 1 winter. I was told it wasn’t covered because the tear was along the coping? Whatever!
