Super nice staff with great knowledge about the island! They helped us out when we were in a pinch when it started raining and the dirt roads became pretty much unpassable for bicycles.
Met Cheryl at the Catalina airport and she was nice enough to give me and some friends a ride into town. Super nice company with all the local knowledge you could ever ask for.
We didn't use the service, but the folks at Catalina Backcountry checked on us while we hiked TCT and we are so greatful they were looking out for us! They gave us cold water, checked in on us whenever they saw us hiking on the road, and helped us out at the end of our treck when our feet were toast. They are genuine, kind souls who you can trust with the most accurate advice.
The island's beauty is second to none, with the sole exception of Aaron and Charol. These two people are beyond great; they are angels shepherding this island and making a beautiful experience into perfection. I could not recommend them enough. If I visit again it would be to see them.
