The worst of the absolute worst! These people are crooked and believe that since they are a private company they can violate HIPAA laws and insurance policies
$2460 to drive 15 minutes, sends you to collections while disputing the bill with BCBS insurance despite them being a provider, continues to send bills even after paying collections, horrible phone support that redirects you to their operations center then back to billing, sends you to a higher up who never answers, outsourced call center, threatening collections agency. I get that healthcare in America is a scam, but getting charged $1600 for an ambulance ride that was less than 10 minutes long just because I had the misfortune of falling down the escalators at a subway station has to be the rip-off of the century, especially since I was discharged the same day. On top of that, one of the paramedics had the audacity to ask the police officer attending to me whether I spoke English instead of just addressing me directly, so I even got a sprinkle of racism along with the bill! Absolutely terrible. I called to try and schedule a wheelchair car service for a family member. The first time I called I was hung up on. The second time I called, I was transferred 3 times between dispatch, to billing, and back to dispatch only to have dispatch hang up. People like this should not be working for a service company that many are reliant on. Train your employees or hire people that actually care about their jobs.
