Uses these for years on Air conditioners, work really well. I also have on my car and boat trailer.
If you want to have a rust-free car buy a CAT Rust Protection System. My daughter bought a Mitsubishi Lancer in 1995 from a dealer in WA. My son and I put a CAT Protection system on it straight away and then she drove it for the next 29 years. During the car's life, she lived by the ocean most of the time. When it was sold there was no rust anywhere in the panels, sills, bonnet, boot, or floor panels. It still looked like a new car. In a couple of places the clear coat was lifting but no rust!!!!!!!
I've been using the Cat system on 3 vehicles for well over a decade now. They work well and are good value for money. Dont use anything else.
Installed 100% to the instructions. Corrosion has worsened eg new antenna snapped in less than 6 months. Haven't noticed rust change apart from having more. Should have googled country's that have banned them and why. Don't waste your money, 2004 Toyota land cruiser, 8 pad cat system. Haven't been in or near salt water. Car always garaged.
The service was great. Haven’t installed the product yet but it was delivered within 3 days of the order being placed. Everything was in the box as specified on their website. Thanks Phil. I’ve installed the Cat 6 pad system now and it was reasonably easy to install. Was a bit disappointed with the cable connection plugs but after testing for voltage it was all working. Will keep an eye on it and may look at soldering n heat shrinking them down the track.
