My mother passed away in March 2018, She was in the memory care wing. I visited often and caught nurses verbally abusing patients, putting plates of food in front of patients who could not eat on their own then throwing the plates away.... When my mother was transported to the hospital her last few days she had MRSA and scabies. Just wish they would wear name tags n have short nails working with elderly . I've seen a lady doing bandage change on patient in hallway no gloves blood dripping on floor with patient standing in agony while she is doing this then arm starts bleeding because long nails . Is this the reason no name tags so can't report her . I've seen this and wonder what goes in when not there .
Our grandmother is our life. When it was time to make other arrangements for her we decided on Caswell House. The road was rocky at first, but 8 months in she is doing so well. We are so thankful for the staff that continue to be so kind to her and care for her just as their own. Christian has listened to my concerns and has addressed them accordingly I feel. Please research those who gave Caswell House 5 stars between May and June because they are employees of the Affinity Group and have NO affiliation with loved ones that live at the Caswell House. They had to falsely do reviews to give themselves a high review rating. Very very sad. Not sure about the comments I have read but that is definitely not the Caswell House in Yanceyville NC.
