I rented an apartment from Casto for ten years at Eastpointe Lake Apartments. Their maintenence team was noteworthy, however, after multiple request to address concern of black debrie on my walls and ceiling I was astounded with their response. I was told debrie was a result of burning candles. New management purchased property, replaced heating system, painted entire apartment. There is no debrie in my apartment. Casto should consider improving management of their properties and consumer satisfaction.

I’ll say this, casto really needs to think about making some changes with corporate and regional mangers, the level of unprofessional, is a understatement, Amy and Jen, I feel for anyone who has to deal with them, I’m still waiting on a call for both of them, the Scioto ridge leasing team, AMAZING!! We were on a 7 month lease moving from Florida. Used to rent from Casto lived at one of their apartment, communities for 11+ years with no problems at all until last year I had one problem with one neighbor above me she smoked pot, played music all night, long banging on the floor they moved her to another apartment. Then they sold my current apartment complex. I tried to move to another apartment complex, owned by Casto. They will not rent to me because of the situation. I strongly suggest that you DO NOT rent from Casto. Any property, anywhere. They will without a doubt attempt to take as much money from you as possible upon move out for literally anything they feel they can take advantage of. They are rude, unknowledgeable and ignore rationality in honor of their internal interests. Embarrassing way to run a company. Multiple other reviews warn of the same and speaking from experience it’s worse than portrayed in all of them.

At the Glenchester lakes location, we have some of the MOST hard working and on it maintenance. I put in a work order and they’re here right away. And they don’t stop working on a problem until it’s fixed. At my last apartment, it took 3 years to convince them to look at our ac. Here they took us seriously and fixed it immediately. We also have a 4 month old and I love their bond. When they come, they say hi to him and make sure he’s comfortable. Thank you so much for all your hard work and thanks for being so personable ❤️
