Don’t ever rent from a Casto community. Left residents completely stranded during the snowstorm at Hamilton Woods and HQ Flats. Streets and sidewalks haven’t been touched. Residents literally stuck and employers only have so much patience. Plus it is wildly dangerous if someone is having an emergency. An ambulance can’t make into the complex What an absolute disaster and complete lack of common sense. Hopefully if someone is hurt this company is sued into bankruptcy

Who hired the new river and rich leasing manager? The female one, (not Ikram) is incredibly rude and unhelpful. I called about a package that was delivered while I am out of town on accident and she gave my Cat Sitter the wrong name, the wrong address, it was not even similar to my name, even though I emailed my name and told her on the phone. I also was supposed to be comped rent for my first month for signing a 15 month lease and was served an eviction notice 2 days after I moved in because they “forgot” another poorly run... read more

My wife rented from casto and we had a terrible experience. None of our maintenance requests were fixed and we were forced to live in a unit with active growing black mold. They came and sprayed bleach and told us that was the solution. When we complained about the condition of the property we were told to move air and heat was more important that removing mold. I rented an apartment from Casto for ten years at Eastpointe Lake Apartments. Their maintenence team was noteworthy, however, after multiple request to address concern of black debrie on my walls and ceiling I was astounded with their response. I was told debrie was a result of burning candles. New management purchased property, replaced heating system, painted entire apartment. There is no debrie in my apartment. Casto should consider improving management of their properties and consumer satisfaction.

I’ll say this, casto really needs to think about making some changes with corporate and regional mangers, the level of unprofessional, is a understatement, Amy and Jen, I feel for anyone who has to deal with them, I’m still waiting on a call for both of them, the Scioto ridge leasing team, AMAZING!! We were on a 7 month lease moving from Florida. With 10 days in the 7 month, so we put in for a transfer to another Castro, property, both property managers were okay, with the transfer rent on time, paid by money order, they cal... read more
