Rang Hunter Imaging for an appointment for a scan. Reception told me she had never heard of the scan I needed even when the referring specialist told me patients of his had had the same one the week before. She was rude and abrupt so I went rang Tamworth Base Hospital. The receptionist was extremely pleasant and helpful. Perhaps Hunter Imaging need to take a leaf out of their book.

My appointment time was written down as 4pm. I arrived at 3.50pm to complete paperwork and was immediately chastised for being "late". The desk jockey took great pains to point out that in the body of the letter it tells me to get here 30 minutes early. She would not listen to the fact that if they wanted me here at 3.30, that's the time they should put on the top of the letter. The technician who did the scan was good but very poor reception service. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, showing no respect or willingness to assist.
