Last week I had a minor surgery at Castlemaine and I’m very grateful for the care I received. From admissions, the lady there was welcoming and kind, which immediately put me at ease. The nurse who completed my pre-surgery checks was especially understanding and empathetic, taking the time to reassure me and make sure I felt comfortable and in good hands with the team. Went in for my very first surgery, nurses and anaesthesiologists were so amazing at calming my nerves, they even let my mum in with me until I went under completely because of how scared I was. Everyone was so lovely and I appreciate how fantastic they were

I went in for x2 procedures performed by dr Manny Cao . Exceptional nurses and doctors were very helpful and kind as I was extremely nervous about the procedure..Highly recommend Dr Manny Cao and Castlemaine hospital..

The staff are amazing, really enjoyed working here as a Nurse for the period I was there.

Very disappointed I came here in the morning for a cut finger that was clearly bent and couldn't move. I was told by a senior nurse "oh that's just a cut" and she walks off. All that was treated with was some bandages nothing more. 2 months later the finger is still bent and I need a operation because the tendon was CUT through. But no the nurse said it was just a cut. Will never return here.
