Had a timming chain problem .They were brilliant helped get my car to the garage and sorted it for me within 24 hours .Car runs like a dream .Thanks guys
AVOID! Clueless mechanic. Messed up the car. Took DPF out and didn’t even put the right software. Car was puffing out black smoke. Took back 3 times but he didn’t have a clue with to do. Waste of money and time.
Wouldn’t recommend at all. Friendly guys, but cowboys at heart. Did some work on the DPF for me and broke the DPF clip and welded it back on together. Had it like this for months until I developed a bad cough, turns out the welded clip broke leading to all exhaust fumes coming inside the vehicle! Risked my life for a £30 Clip. Absolute, cowboys. Find a professional who will do the job properly!
I had my Toyota Avensis DPF sorted by this garage in 2017 and since then the car is doing fantastic and no sluggishness. I get more than 60 mpg if i drive sensibly on open road and my car has now done 260,000 miles. Why it took me 6 yrs to put this review as I could only recall this because a friend of mine was looking to get his car remapped and I advised him to contact CASTLE STREET TUNING. Thanks for doing the great work. I can highly recommend this garage.
Knows his stuff, is honest and capable and reliable. Doesn't charge the earth, either. Fon't rely on his "menu" though, he has a wide skill base
