Have been to both the Mardi Gras and Summer Carnivale events at the Castle and they are both fantastic events.
NewYears celebration was awesome plenty of things to see and do but parking is horrible. Everyone is dressed to impress yet they park you in a muddy wet cornfield/field so your getting wet and muddy trying to walk to entrance. You can’t help the weather but need a back up plan for muddy conditions

20's theme New Years Eve Party was great....
The castle was the absolute perfect place for our small intimate ceremony. Not only was the staff extremely friendly, they went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was everything we could imagine. To top it off, our event manager, Malaysia, saved the day for me. I had a custom bouquet made and my mom and I left it at the house. I was at a complete loss of what to do to rectify the situation. Castle McCulloch is the perfect wedding venue. Not only is the site unique and beautiful but the staff is amazing. We went with all recommended vendors by the Castle and since the vendors had worked together before the wedding went smoothly and perfectly. Paulette was the staff member we worked with the most. As an out of state Bride I was nervous about planning a wedding without being able to be hands on.
