Still no response from James JR Castle to my Solar cancelled contract request from October 2023 for $11,400 dollars . Although he has committed to making this good in writing and I have a notarized statement with his signature he continues to avoid paying . I am not the only one who has not been paid . Vendors, Customers, Lenders and Sub Contracts who have worked with him for years. The BBB has been notified , Energy Sage has been notified . Cash deposit since 2023 not returned Sept 2023 did a cash contract with Castle Energy for my new home . Cancelled it in Oct 2023 . Gave them $11,409 cash and to date 6/16/2024 has not been returned . In good faith I gave it to them . JR Castle promised a refund in 2023 in writing several times . In 2024 we have sent certified letters , Ignored . We have a letter from them stating by May 27 Th the deposit would be returned . It’s 6/19/2024 no money . They have been excluded to use large Solar Lenders . They owe many vendors .... read more

James Castle signed a General Release for my Solar Contract Refund on April 3 2024 and it was notarized my the State of Delaware Notary Public .It states he will pay the refund for the cancelled solar contract on or before May 27th We gave him 45 days to pay the money and as of 6/20/224 this has not been paid and the general release has been violated . James Castle continues to sell Solar in the State of New Jersey under a Company named NJR which does leases. He is not to be trusted and with anyone's money and is not a man ... read more

It would be hard to cover everything that is great about Castle Energy! Our sales rep was involved through out the entire project and was never more than a phone call away for any questions. The install team was professional and meticulous through out the entire process. The finished product was visually stunning and is outperforming the estimates that were provided - we are already producing more energy than we are consuming and it's February! Full disclosure on this company’s rating. I’m an ex-employee but what I have to say is not a reflection on my dismissal. The background is , I left Castle on a mutual agreement between JR and myself because I could no longer support his actions or his ethics. One project comes to mind is that when JR was growing his business he hired a sales rep.
