This is a gross unprofessional assisted living home. The board hires uneducated and inexperienced staff, over works care givers because they go through staff and are often without staff and pays them low wages. Terrible hostile work environment that will reflect on the care of your loved ones. Make sure you do your research on the board, upper management and very un qualified supervisors.

This is a decent property with extremely over worked staff and a toxic work environment which will impact your loved ones. This location has great potential, but is poorly managed by a lazy entitled Executive director Denise Hammond. She does not treat the staff or residents with respect and discriminates. Research the education and experience of the lousy activities director and wellness coordinator with no medical backgrounds or senior experience. Ask to meet the mystery board members.

I live at the Victorian House, I am 88 living with Dementia and this facility has been my home for over 2 years. The staff are loving, kind, considerate and always make sure I am safe and happy. There are upgrades and improvements always happening. I am happy living here!

Both the on-site caregivers and the administration work to make VH a warm and caring setting for all the residents. I love that so many of the caregivers know residents by their first names, are very kind and support all with the unique support each needs (I.e. cleaning the apartment, dressing if desired, social time activities, dining room support, ... read more
