The Chicken and Waffles were amazing!! The waffles came with a berry compote along with syrup and was SO good! The pan fried chicken was SO worth the wait! Great friendly service.Â
Several American classics done perfect. Catfish, walleye, trout and pan free chicken. 🤤Â
The service was a little slow, but I suppose that adds to the overall old world charm the cafe invokes—that of an era gone by. The food is fresh, flavorful and comforting. Portion sizes are generous and priced pretty decently, for the amount of food you get. Definitely recommend stopping in and sampling from this historic gem tucked away in the heart of downtown Castle Rock. Prepare to be charmed and well-satiated!Â
