We were heading back from Arizona and was on the I-10E, 6 hrs from home (Houston), when our Sequoia engine light appeared. My husband stopped, popped the hood, over heated and water dripped from the hose. Small town, towing was difficult to find. No car ride, no uber. Called for hotel transport around 9pm, a hotel told us to call 911 help. Dispatcher gave us 2 towing companies all rollled into voicemail. At a time when I needed help after my car broke down on a long road trip, this auto shop went out of their way to be sure my car was seen. They were friendly, honest, and I believe fair in their fees. The owner was upfront about the challenges, and stayed late to help me get back on the road. Castilleja Auto were absolute rockstars! I was quoted over $1300 by multiple places for an inner seal, he double checked everything, thoroughly and found nothing wrong. They also went over my car top to bottom with an oil change too. If you want a solid place for car care, look no further!
Shout out to Mando and his whole team at Castilleja’s. They’re honestly the best and great service! God bless their team and business. We were coming from Lockhart going to Cali and our brakes went out, we started to google spots and they came up, we called and he said they were short on people but he figured it out for us and he was able to get us towed to his shop.
