There was a situation where the roof would only leak during very heavy storms, but remain completely dry during normal rain. It was confusing because the problem wasn’t consistent. After checking thoroughly, they explained that strong wind pressure during storms was forcing water underneath a slightly lifted edge flashing. Under normal conditions, it stayed sealed, but under pressure, it opened just enough to let water in. That level of detail really helped me understand the behavior of the leak.
