Get the house salad. I will not eat any salad unless it's from Castelli's Moonlight. The rest of your meal will be very satisfactory as well. A few years back this place went down hill a bit. Poor food, poor service, and just too noisy. Now Castelli's is back to the way I remember it growing up, fancy feel and flavor fine dining with prices even a high school kid could afford to take a date to.
My family has been going to Moonlight for special occasions for 30 years. They recently hosted my father's birthday party. Wonderful Service and wonderful food is thier trademark. Thier Chicken is to die for and thier house dressing is superb. When in Alton make sure this is the restaurant you go to.
I loved the food, house salad, and the staff! Amanda and Joseph are Great!
Good Food and service but bit pricey for a family.
Good Food. Reasonable prices. Nice dining area. Recommend the fried chicken dinner.
