Talented chef with creative menu in a charming, intimate cottage setting. This restaurant is a nice counterpoint to the other food offerings in Cannon Beach. The menu has a Cajun and Carribbean leaning. I enjoyed the Creole Etouffee which was spicy and savory... great for a cool and damp late fall evening :-)
This restaurant truly stands the tests of time. The staff and Chef do an amazing job. The food is worth the money. My husband and I haven’t dined here for years and will continue to as long as we can.

Everything was delicious, from the cocktails to the appetizers to the entrees, and the staff couldn't be nicer. Definitely make a reservation as it's a popular spot! If you're in or near Cannon Beach, don't miss this gem!!
A fabulous meal ! The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, including crab cakes, chinnook salmon and Dungeness crab ravioli. Followed by a decadent dessert. The chef is creative and the carefully prepared sauces are delightful. A warm atmosphere and excellent service make Castaways a must-do experience!
