Kind of disappointing. The food and service took a bit longer than normal to get to the table even though there were only 2 tables in the restaraunt. We had 3 people eating and each of us had problems with our meal, enough to have to send one back and not take the others as leftovers. Idk, sadly it doesn't live up to the hype and I don't think it deserves its 4.2 star rating currently.
First off would like to say this establishment is bottom 5 places I’ve ever eaten, if not possibly the worst. Unsure where to even start this review. I came in with my two daughters a few days ago to try it for the first time. I’d been wanting to try it because everyone calls this place a “hidden gem” but after eating there once I can only assume all the reviews were either written by bots or staff bc it was awful. Castaways is truly one of Lancaster’s best hidden gems! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly faces that make you feel right at home. Love this place my girlfriend and I come at least once a week and any time we have ever had an issue they fix it with no problems and almost always take money off, even tho we don’t ask them.we tell everyone about this hidden gem!
What a great find! The grilled chicken breast is a winner! Also love the green beans! Friendly and attentive staff in this casual place. Only weird thing is hearing an actual radio station over the sound system and some of the TV just had movies on. But food and price are great! Will be back!
