Beautiful, relaxing place. Water had algae. You need to pay to get on to water.
People at the phone number say that the 24 hour fishing pier is closed because the kiosk was damaged in the most recent fire, but it's not. They then say it's because the fire damaged the campsites but that's not true either. I think the potential money from patrolling the lake for trespassers is more lucrative than the daily charge for parking at the pier and that's unconscionable. This is a cool place to chill and fish for bass, catfish carp and bluegill. They rent boats and the facility is clean. 12$ admission fee
Be prepared to show your boaters card and do a vessel inspection. Make sure there is absolutely no water in your vessel and that no water comes out when you dry start it
