I rate people and businesses by how they handle failures and errors, not success. When the sun is shiny and everything is perfect, it's easy to claim you deserve five stars. What I care about is... Are you going to fix your mistakes after you drop the ball? A complaint to the Managing Partner about what I considered to be serious negligence and mishandling resulted in the Firm gaslighting me. Not sure what internal politics were at play, but I would have expected more.
Just had a breakfast meeting with Zach Zittell from Cassels. Discussed all things franchising law in Canada and potential franchising opportunities between Canada and Australia.
Firm is unprofessional. You are treated like a number. Dealt with Corporate Department and will not use them again. Would NOT recommend Cassels.
I actually followed Samantha Wu to this firm from another one as she goes above and beyond for you as a client. Samantha is honest, caring, transparent and tries to help you without emptying your wallet. She is a great example of the type of lawyer this profession could use more of!
