I saw Dr. Gandle last year for an endoscopy. The employee at the front desk was very rude over the phone and on site. I arrived early for my appointment and she said "I called you, didn't you listen to my voicemail? All appointments are cancelled for today" I asked if there was someone else I could see and she said no, you must reschedule. I tried to schedule a colonoscopy with Dr. Gamble. I was told I couldn't do it on the phone, I needed to come into the office. They have limited hours so I made sure I went during office hours. I drove 45 minutes to the office. They were closed with no sign explaining why. I called the office number and was told they had to leave for an emergency, but someone would call me back within 24 hours. That was two weeks ago, and I never received a call. I called back today. The worst communication I've ever experienced in my life from a medical office (& I've worked as a prior auth, a scheduler, and as a central registration clerk in a major hospital myself). They do not answer phones for weeks, won't return messages, don't schedule STAT orders or return communication regarding STAT orders for high- risk previously abnormal screenings. First off I love Dr. Gandal! However I am having the WORST experience with their office coordinator. I had an EGD/Colonscopy 3 months ago. After 1 and a half months waiting for results I got them and was told I needed another endoscopy. I have been waiting A MONTH AND A HALF for someone to please help me schedule my next app I lent.
