This was a neat little place to stop in on a whim. We went to see the whirlygigs across the street. They have a dog!! I heard there are two, but I got to give Mars all the pets for a few minutes. He's a sweet boy! We got some beers to go, the Cake It Easy is pretty good (a Raspberry cake cream ale). We haven't tried the other kind yet, which is a Hefeweizen. Really like the vibes of the place. Was sad the Strawberry Stout 🍓 was gone, I'd like that probably. Very interesting selection of specialty brewed craft beer.
Friendly, local brewery with a variety of options for beer and non beer drinkers alike. Dog friendly! Very nice outdoor area with picnic tables. Nice atmosphere, good pizza nextdoor. Across from whirligig park, which is also fun.
This place has gone downhill for a variety of reasons. But #1 is that the beer just isn't good and they sell expired beer. Bought a 4 pack recently and it was just sour and nasty. A hazy IPA. That was brewed last summer. Still for sale 6 months later. For a brewery you expect "fresh" beer. Maybe they can turn it around but they need a new brewer.
