Don’t refinance EVER. It’s a scam. What they don’t tell you over the phone is they reset the payments every time you refinance. It’s notates in the paperwork but obviously not everyone reads every single line especially when they have to stay on the phone while you sign the documents. Got a loan over a years ago for 200$ and been paying 45$ every 2 weeks. Then told I still owe 9 more payments. Because I’ve chosen to re-finance. Ridiculous.
