October 8, 2025 I left Casey Corner on January 30th this year and I had a terrible experience moving out and here is why: - At first I was told we would only be paying for the remaining lease months for breaking the contract; - Then, it turned out they charged an extra fee that had not being stated before; - THEN when the time to give us back the security deposit amount, we were told there was a carpet clean fee that would be discounted of that amount and the remaining balance would be sent to us via cheque. We were VERY happy with our home - zero complaints. We renewed the lease for an additional year, within the week the property was sold to a different management company. Our washing machine broke 5 weeks ago, & we are still without a resolution to that. We have children - being without a washer for this long is unacceptable. The common areas are also now burnt & the grass is more like hay/straw, even though there are sprinkler systems - new management does not turn them on. Since new management took over, the resident portal experience has gotten much worse. The new system requires entering personal information well beyond what’s standard (including date of birth and middle name) just to make a payment. Most payment sites only require basic card or account details, so this feels excessive and raises privacy and identity theft red flags. - The portal pushes users to log in to their bank through a third party (Plaid), which can violate bank terms of service and compromise account security. - Even... read more
We’ve had a great experience at Casey Corner since moving in last year. Great and very accessible management team, dog friendly, and great unit layouts. Would highly recommend to anyone.
