Casella in Bolton Landing NY refused to pick up my garbage saying my road was "too icy" after I received a propane delivery & countless Amazon deliveries! after emailing TWICE, a phone rep tells me if I email a SECOND time, my email goes to the bottom of the list, having received NO response for a week after my first.... this company has the poorest customer service....
Showed up to pick up bins when schools on 2hr snow delay but skipped over me week after week because road not good enough when no snow. After 5 years, in the middle of winter abandoned me and refused to pick up my garbage anymore. The reason is they couldn't drive on my road. FedEx, UPS and suburban propane can drive to me but they can't anymore. Left me hanging. Took my money but not my trash. Bad business.
They miss tons of pick ups. If there is two inches of snow they don't show up. When you call they say it's up to the drivers. Really I pay the company not the drivers so make sure you hire some drivers that aren't afraid of 2 inches of snow. And it's Christmas Eve our garbage is full and they want us to wait another full week for a pick up.
The worst service. On hold for over thirty minutes always. Prices always going up. Just support local and use a local trash removal service
