Awful service. Not too many options in the area, so they feel they can do whatever they want. Their website says: garbage has to be out before 6 AM. I had my out 5:35 am, they just passed my house and kept collecting from neighbors on my site. When they turned around to collect on the other side, my bin was out and they passed it, but they decided to ignore it. When I called, the answer was that it was not there at 5:34 am. Seriously? This company is awful. You call, no one answers or if they do , they have no idea what they are doing. Our garbage as usual was to be picked up today and it’s still at the curb. It will be in their driveway this weekend along with our neighbors. They will have no choice but to pick it up.
NY needs to shut them down.. I had service with another company and they bought them out. I switched to another service bought out again. They raised my price and then out of nowhere they cancel my service for no reason. When i called to try to figure out why I'm told my area is not serviced by them. 3 of their routes go right past my house, neighbors on either side of me use them for trash pickup. Now i have to wait over an hour for a supervisor to answer why i have no trash service. This company is a joke and NY state need... read more
If I could leave a zero then I would. Casella bought out our local company and within the first month, skipped picking up our garbage two out of the four weeks. We cancelled service and we're promised a partial refund for the service that wasn't provided. A month later, no refund and I'm still getting emails telling me to pay our bill. And just today, they came and took our bins that we had bought from the local company years ago. Now we're having to call and wait on hold to ask them to return our bins that they stole.
