Had talked to John at Townsend location today and he got my trash picked up so there are good people at Casella after all. After asking them for help John fixed my issues and I had to raise my review to a 5 star. Thank you for your help.

Cancelled services a month ago trash cans still not picked up, can’t get through to customer service!!
So I recently found out my neighborhood gets a discount from another trash company so I switched and cancelled with Casella ON 1/30/2026. They informed they would be out to pick up their trash bins and to leave them in a visible spot. It's FEB. 20th and they still haven't picked them up!! I called and they said they were behind schedule, like everything else with that company. I have no room for 4 trash bins and I'm about to call New Castle County and the Division of Solid Waste if they don't come get the cans by next week. ... read more
I’d rate this company ZERO stars if I could (and that’s generous) Casella Waste Industries is a masterclass in how not to run a trash company. They routinely skip pickups, yet somehow find the time to drive past my house weekly like it’s a sightseeing tour. Truly impressive levels of incompetence. They’re unreliable, absurdly overpriced, and completely useless at the one thing they’re paid to do: pick up trash.
