We used to have wonderful service from Casella waste but sorry to say not lately. The man always closed the covers on our trash cans..but Lately a new man picks up the cans and empties them. That’s the problem!! Today was both recycle and waste pickup. Unfortunately the trashcan covers were left open It was raining so I had about three inches of rain water in each trashcan…..plus the recycle can had some papers floating in the water. Casella may be the worst waste management company in New Castle, DE. They are more expensive than every other company. They raise rates until you cancel service, then they offer a better price. We canceled service and have called them four additional times to have them remove their trash cans. We canceled on 7/22, it is 8/10 and the cans are still on our property! My wife waited between 30 and 45 minutes each of the first 3 calls and today 1 hour 42 minutes! This is very frustrating!
Had talked to John at Townsend location today and he got my trash picked up so there are good people at Casella after all. After asking them for help John fixed my issues and I had to raise my review to a 5 star. Thank you for your help. We'll I guess I was wrong now this company is trying to recharge me for a bill I already payed to SEM before they bought them bad new stay clear of this company!!!
If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Missed our pick up and cannot pick up until our next trash day.
Worst company. My recycling has not been picked up for over a month and when I call they just keep saying they will try to get someone out to pick it up… and no one does. I asked for a credit and they said they can only credit me $11. That’s ridiculous for the amount of money I pay a month and for my trash and recycling to be late every week or not picked up at all. 10/10 do not recommend.
