I am deeply concerned about Dr. Casella’s front desk. They are unprofessional, callous, and plainly vindictive. Where this high school, this caliber of means girls would be irritating. As adults - particularly adults dealing with a vulnerable general public - it is frightening. They do not answer to the pharmacy. When I kindly called for a medication refill, they informed me I must see Dr. Casella first in a typically argumentative tone. I understand this policy. Aside from being an excellent physician, Dr. Casella is a compassionate person. He actually LISTENS to patients...THE most important thing in evaluating and treating a problem. Other Premier docs are also excellent.
I just was in the ICU for 3 nights on the verge of a stroke and heart attack. When released they said go straight to my Dr( Frank Casella) and when I got there I was told since I missed 1 appointment they weren't taking my business. They didn't care one bit and were nasty. I immediately went to another Dr. and they said that Dr Casella had to see me due to the oath he took. He still wouldn't even talk to me when I had the hospital on the phone. Dr Casella has been my PCP for 18 years…he ALWAYS make himself available when needed… He is professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. How they recommend this practice.
Dr Cassella was a very good Dr. It's his front office. I had waited ten weeks for my bpap machine trying to get them to send the right information to the company supplying my bpap machine. In ten weeks I called the office six times absolutely no help. Stop in with prescription for blood test before a surgery. No call back. Went back they said they have nothing about any blood test, and they'll need to see the script even though the receptionist photo copied it the last time I was there. I had to find a better office.
