We hired John to repoint a significant portion of our large brick chimney, and he did an excellent job grinding out the old deteriorating mortar and repointing it with mortar he dyed to darken it so it matched and would blend in with the parts of the chimney which weren't in need of repair. John was excellent and came highly recommended from my neighbor who also owns a two-story single family home. His response time was great, followed through, and always kept me up to date on progress. The work was top notch, thorough, affordable, and John did a great job explaining everything to me. Overall very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend him!
John helped us with a really dirty chimney and fixed the masonry around the flue opening. He also waterproofed our roof where the chimney flashing had aged. Great local resource, highly recommend!!
John was fantastic. He did an excellent job on repointing the bricks on my chimney and installing a chimney cap. His price was extremely reasonable given the amount of time and effort he put into the job. He's a one-man shop and doesn't have a team of people to call/email you back - just keep that in mind if he takes a bit to get back to you. But he does an excellent job!
