We hired John to repoint a significant portion of our large brick chimney, and he did an excellent job grinding out the old deteriorating mortar and repointing it with mortar he dyed to darken it so it matched and would blend in with the parts of the chimney which weren't in need of repair. In the attached photo you can see his work (the top half of the chimney was repointed). John was excellent and came highly recommended from my neighbor who also owns a two-story single family home. His response time was great, followed through, and always kept me up to date on progress. The work was top notch, thorough, affordable, and John did a great job explaining everything to me. Overall very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend him!
John helped us with a really dirty chimney and fixed the masonry around the flue opening. He also waterproofed our roof where the chimney flashing had aged. Great local resource, highly recommend!!
