Spinasse was in my list of restaurants to visit ever since I’ve been here. It’s widely regarded as the best italian restaurant here. I chose to celebrate my birthday here. The service was top notch. We ordered toni negroni, martinez cocktail, cavatelli, tagarin with beef ragu, chocolate cake and bibb lettuce salad. This is the best pasta I’ve had in my life. This was my second time at Spinasse. We did the tasting menu, I had already had it once last year but it was just as amazing as before. It’s nice they switch up the tasting menu, the butter and sage angel hair was my favorite. More importantly I’m writing this review to thank Eric for the wonderful experience. What a delightful restaurant. Really underestimate flavors, great wine selection, delicious desserts and romantic atmosphere made those place a perfect dinner out. You have the option of a half order or full order, which is great if you want to try a few things and also share with a few people. Wow! My waitress suggested the 1/2 portions to try a few different options, so I went with the Tajarin al Ragu which was like a teeny tiny angel hair pasta and the pasta special, Rabbit stuffed Agnolotti that was absolutely amazing. Service was fantastic. I ordered the "Old Pal" from the cocktail menu and was reminded why we don't talk anymore.
Wow Charles was amazing. Enjoyed the quiet setting.We had an amazing 1st experience. As he walked us through the menu. Explained the local favorites. And even hand made desserts. Where amazing. Thanks again for an amazing experience.
