My dad loved this place! He lived there for 3 years until he passed but was able to make several good friends and was very happy with the facility management and staff. Would recommend this facility to everyone!
We searched and visited multiple assisted facilities for our father when we came across Cascades of Grass Valley. The staff was very helpful and very informative. They have helped us during this stage of our father's journey and strongly feel we made the best decision for him. The staff actually cares and we can feel that. We were unsure what to expect and they have made this transition easier for our family. He is safe and well taken care of.
I wanted to write a review for Angela because she was so helpful and honest when we were thinking about moving my Mother in law from another local assisted living facility. I liked the smaller environment and more personal experience at Cascades compared to the larger place where mom was currently living. Mom had dementia and Parkinsons and was requiring more and more care. Things were changing rapidly and Mom had a lot of anxiety. My mom has been there a short time, but the experience we had with Angela has been amazing. She has been very helpful and resolved any concerns or issues we had in a timely, efficient, friendly, and professional manner. She has an exceptional, warm kind personality. I feel this will be a nice long term facility for my mom.
My mother lived out her last six months of life at Cascade's of GV as she suffered with Lewy Body dementia. She had her own sunny, garden-view room. She was not always the easiest resident, but the staff was patient and loving all the way through. We called her Gran, and that was what everyone else called her.
