Dr. Tom floated my horses’ teeth today and was fantastic. Professional, knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and very good with the animals. His work was exactly what I would expect from an experienced large-animal veterinarian, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. I also have to chuckle at a two-star review that says “Great price,” claims the dentistry was disappointing, and then provides absolutely zero explanation as to what was actually wrong. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Welch with Cascade Equine Sports Medicine for anyone in the Kelso/Longview area looking for an equine vet! My horse can be nervous with vets, and I was honestly so impressed with how well the appointment went. Dr. Welch was incredibly calm, patient, and flexible with my horse. He took his time, worked with what my horse was comfortable with, and never made the appointment feel rushed. I also really appreciated his approach to sedation.
