Cascade Door & Hardware was founded in 1976 by Mr. Lloyd Wold of Everett, WA. The original name, Cascade Steel Door, began as a division of Wold Hardware. Wold Hardware began in 1950. Along with consumer goods, Cascade Steel Door also offered Door Hardware to General Contractors. The addition of the Steelcraft line of Doors and Frames required the creation of Cascade and the integration of the Hardware business with the new Door and Frame business.
